Our Story | Performing Arts Education in Enfield Town Since 2007

The London School of Arts (LSA) was founded in 2007 by two professional musicians, Mr Ali Adatas (guitarist) and Mr Bulent Akbudak (opera singer), brought together by a shared belief in high-quality, accessible arts education.
 

What began as a small programme of one-to-one music lessons in a local church hall quickly grew through word of mouth. Within three years, LSA expanded from 50 to over 300 students, opening multiple sites and establishing a strong presence in North London.
 

In 2014, LSA moved into its permanent home in Enfield, transforming an empty building into a dedicated performing arts academy. Since then, the school has continued to grow while staying true to its founding values: care, consistency, and high standards.
 

Today, LSA offers:

• Instrument lessons with experienced professional tutors

• Ballet classes guided by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus

• Drawing and Painting programmes, supporting students through GCSE Art and portfolio preparation
   

With over 30 qualified tutors, LSA consistently achieves strong examination results and supports students of all ages — from beginners to those preparing for further training and creative careers.
 

In 2016, the academy received ASIC accreditation, and in 2019, LSA was awarded Performing Arts School of the Year by the London Prestige Awards.
 

At its heart, LSA is about people — nurturing confidence, discipline, and creativity, while helping every student reach their full potential in a supportive and professional environment.
